Seeing each other at MENT, that's meant to be, right?

"MENT Ljubljana is a three-day (30 Jan. – 1 Feb. 2019) showcase festival of fresh artists from all of Europe and beyond, during which around 70 acts perform at different venues in Ljubljana. The international conference focuses on the music industry and creativity." Sounds good, isn't it? That's why Martin & Maaike are heading there this week! And they would love to meet you! Let us know if you'll be there, so that we can set up a meeting. We have a lot of interesting new projects & music to present to you (ESINAM, Echoes of Zoo, Next.Ape, N∆BOU, Jean-Paul Estiévenart Quintet, ...). Don't miss out! We look forward to seeing you there!

Next.Ape's beautiful music video 'Undone' is out now!

Next.Ape is drummer and composer Antoine Pierre’s newest project, in which he joins forces with Veronika Harcsa (vocals), Lorenzo Di Maio (guitar) and Jérôme Klein (keys). Four musicians enjoying the exploration of a psychedelic blend of alternative rock and trip-hop. At the crossroads of Radiohead, Damon Albarn, Modeselektor, Portishead and Miles Davis. The band has a unique sound: a slamming snare drum, a deep bass on the Moog, a distorted guitar, some keyboards and of course a clear and charismatic voice. The groove is hectic and incisive. Their improvisations give you goosebumps. In short: their music moves you. This February, they will release their first EP, « Next.Ape », on the new la

They will take off at The Jazz Bar in Edinburgh on January 16th, then hit the road to Aberdeen (Jazz At The Blue Lamp, 17/01). Glasgow and the Celtic Connections Festival are waiting for them on 18/01, as well as Vortex for a final concert in London on January 19th. The trio, whose music oscillates between a deep love for tradition and a constant quest for modernity, will undoubtedly seduce the English audience, whom we hope to be numerous! 16.01 The Jazz Bar, Edinburgh 17.01 Jazz At The B
